2 lb steak (I usually use tri-tip steaks)
1/2 c low sodium soy sauce
1/3 c olive oil
1/4 c brown sugar
1/4 c bourbon
2 Tablespoons whole grain mustard
2 teaspoons cajun seasoning
2 cloves minced garlic
1 teaspoon fresh thyme
2 Tablespoons butter
Combine everything except for the butter & marinate the steaks for at least 30 minutes at room temperature or in the refrigerator for 2 hours. Drain off the marinade and reserve. Grill the steaks to desired doneness, then let rest for ten minutes. While steaks are resting, bring the marinade up to a boil and boil for five minutes. Stir in the butter. To serve, slice the steaks and pour the sauce over the top.
