This is a great veggie dish for special occasions, sure to impress.
1 pound French green beans
4 slices bacon, cut in half
2 Tbsp butter, melted
2 Tbsp brown sugar
1 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp salt
fresh ground pepper
Wrap about 8 green beans in 1/2 slice bacon. Mix all of the sauce ingredients together except for the pepper. Grind a little fresh pepper over the top. Bake, covered with foil, at 400 degrees for 35 minutes. Remove the foil and bake another 12-15 minutes, or until the bacon is nicely browned.
