These are sooooo good! But, you have to find short ribs that are really meaty, and since that’s almost impossible, I only get to make these on rare occasions.
4 lbs beef short ribs
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1-1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1/4 tsp chili powder
Favorite barbecue sauce
Brown the ribs well on all sides. Mix everything but the barbecue sauce together and sprinkle over the ribs. Place the ribs in a roasting pan and cover tightly with aluminum foil. Bake at 300 degrees for 4 hours. Remove the foil and drain off any liquid if there is any. Brush the ribs generously with your favorite barbecue sauce. Broil until the sauce is browned/carmelized. Flip the ribs over and brown the other side. Only takes a few minutes. If the bones are falling out, I usually just slip them out and throw them away before serving with pilaf or mashed potatoes. So good. Oh yeah!
