Honey Glazed Salmon

This salmon recipe is the bomb. We usually just grill salmon brushed with butter and sprinkled with seasoned salt, which is great. But, it’s also nice to have a good recipe you can cook indoors, and this one is pretty hard to beat.

3 Salmon fillets, no skin (you can do 2-4, depending on pan and fillet size)

Coat the salmon with a little olive oil, then rub on a mixture of:

1 tsp seasoned salt

1 tsp onion powder

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp dried parsley

1 tsp paprika

1/2 tsp pepper

Add 2 T unsalted butter and 2 T olive oil to a pan. (The olive oil is to keep the butter from burning.)

Fry the salmon on medium high until browned and cooked through, about 7 minutes per side. Remove salmon from the pan, then stir into the pan:

1/4 c honey

1 tsp Old Bay seasoning

Add a little more butter if needed to make a nice sauce, then add the salmon back into the pan. Spoon sauce over the top, flip the salmon over and spoon more sauce over until the salmon is well coated. Plate the salmon, spooning the sauce over the top and adding a drizzle of lemon juice if you like.
